Czarno-biała prezentacja logo Mebelli

mebelli

The practical component of my master's thesis, prepared under the supervision of Associate Professor Elżbieta Dul-Ledwosińska, 2023.

The design principles for introducing Mebelli to the market were carefully developed around several key elements. Completing the successive stages made it possible to launch the brand, while further implementation will support its continued development.

The design process included creating a visual identity that fully reflected these principles. Modern typography made the logo highly recognisable, clear and, in some details, brutalist. The next stage involved designing a modern online shop.

home page

The visual approach is monochromatic, with colour introduced only through the photographs. Grey lines emphasise the page grid, bringing order, rhythm and hierarchy to its sections. The layout is asymmetrical, with a wider left margin that keeps the hamburger menu integrated into the design while scrolling.

Each main product category is intended to receive a dedicated 3D visualisation showing products from that category.

The view opens with a short message showing the search term and the number of matching products. Below it, users can sort the results using a dropdown list with checkboxes or filter by specific attributes in a sidebar.

A large product photograph is accompanied by the name, description, price and lowest price over the preceding 30 days. Users can choose a variant, such as colour or size, select a quantity and add the product to their basket. Further down, buttons open product specifications in a sidebar, followed by a section of photographs and descriptions showing product details.

The layout is enclosed by grey lines. Products appear in a list, each with a photograph, name, delivery time, unit price and total price. Users can change quantities or remove an item. The list is followed by an order summary, a discount code field and a button leading to checkout.

The layout uses wide cards: two posts per row, compared with four items in the product listing. Each card contains an image, title, publication date, estimated reading time, summary and button.
